Phoemela Baranda On FHM February 2014 Issue

MANILA - TV host and model Phoemela Baranda appears topless on the cover of the February 2014 issue of FHM, which marks her return to the pages of the men's magazine after eight years.

The cover, unveiled Wednesday on FHM Philippines' official website, shows the 33-year-old Baranda wearing only white panties
Baranda first posed for the magazine in November 2004, which was followed by another cover appearance in June 2006, according to a write-up on the FHM website.

"I'm so excited! We even shot two different sets—one for online and one for the magazine," Baranda was quoted as saying.

Explaining why she decided to appear again in FHM, Baranda said, "It's important that I have a team that I trust. And of course, it's FHM naman, it's my third time and I hope people will still love it. Not just like, but love!"

Baranda's revealing cover appearance follows a controversial year for the professional model, who made headlines in 2013 for figuring in a controversy involving an irate Anne Curtis in a bar, and for admitting she has a teen daughter.

Vhong Navarro Forced Deniece Cornejo For Oral Sex?

MANILA - TV host and actor Vhong Navarro forced Deniece Cornejo to perform oral sex on him and tried to insert his penis in her vagina before her friends arrived in the nick of time to rescue her, the model said in her complaint-affidavit.

The complaint, which was filed Wednesday at the Taguig City Hall of Justice, says that while Navarro and Cornejo were inside the Forbeswood Heights condominium unit in Taguig City on the night of January 22, the actor suddenly changed moods and pulled her toward the sofa and tried to get on top of her.
Cornejo said she struggled and got away but Navarro allegedly pinned her down on her bed and undressed her.

"Kuya Vhong still has his hands clutched tightly to my hair and tried to push my head towards his genitals," she said. "I tried to resist but the hair pulling was really painful."

"He succeeded in mashing my entire face... right into his genitals," the complaint said.

"Kuya Vhong continued to pull my hair and forced my face into his genitals despite my cries of 'No, huwag po. He kept pushing his penis into my mouth and I tried with all my might to push him away," Cornejo said.

She alleged that Navarro next lifted one leg of her shorts and pulled at her underwear, which allowed him to insert his penis toward her private part.

"At that point, I felt that his hard penis was already touching my private part... He was forcing his hard penis into my vagina," she said.

Cornejo described what happened next as a "miracle."

"It was only by a miracle that my friends suddenly appeared to help me. I suddenly felt the weight of Kuya Vhong taken away from me and when I was free, I ran to the first person I saw, who was a female friend of mine. I was crying, inconsolable, and hysterical," she said.

She said she demanded that Navarro be brought to a police stationed, where the actor allegedly asked forgiveness and bargained for his freedom.

Cornejo said she didn't sleep in her condo unit that night and found it ransacked and robbed.

"Since then, I have never returned to my unit," she said.

Navarro has denied he attempted to rape Cornejo on January 22, but admitted Cornejo performed oral sex on him on their first date last January 17 in her condo unit.

He said Cornejo's invitation for him to go to her condo unit on January 22 was a set-up and part of a premeditated plan by businessman Cedric Lee to extort money from him.

Lee has denied this accusation.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday showed the CCTV footage taken from Forbeswood Heights and said the sequence of events match Navarro's account. - with a report from Pia Gutierrez, ABS-CBN News

President Noynoy Aquino Dismay Over Arroyo's Bail

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino expressed dismay over the decision of Pasay Regional Trial Court branch 112 Judge Jesus Mupas to allow former President Arroyo to post bail.

In an interview with reporters, Aquino said Mupas used a very strict standard of proof in looking for corroborative evidence proving Mrs. Arroyo ordered Maguindanao Governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. to rig the 2007 elections.

Aquino said it is "impossible" to obtain such corroborative evidence since there is no other witness to the alleged instruction of Mrs. Arroyo to Ampatuan other than former Maguindanao provincial administrator Norie Unas.

"Alangan naman nating isipin na magbibigay ng testimonya 'yung dalawa laban sa sarili nila. So pwede nang testigo 'yung isa. Paano kaya tayo magkakaroon ng corroborative, 'yung makaka-susuog, makakasang-ayon doon sa binanggit na pag-uusap nitong dalawa? So medyo ang taas naman yata ng test na parang imposible na ma-attain dahil wala nang ibang nakarinig ng kanilang usapan doon sa issue ng electoral faud," the President said.

Aquino is waiting for the decision of the Sandiganbayan on whether it would issue a warrant of arrest against Mrs. Arroyo who was charged with plunder over the alleged misuse of PCSO funds.

Plunder is a non-bailable offense.

"Meron pang case pending before the Sandiganbayan, plunder. And plunder is non-bailable also. So hinihintay natin 'yung decision ng Sandiganbayan," he said.
